Therapy Questions:

  • For best results, we suggest new clients attend sessions weekly or every other week. This helps in building a strong relationship, tracking progress, and addressing issues promptly. Regular sessions also give you the support to make meaningful progress in your personal growth.

  • Crescent Counseling Center offers both in-person and virtual sessions, depending on your preference. A hybrid of both is also available!

  • Parent involvement is crucial in therapy for successful treatment. Therapists recognize parents' impact on their child's life and therapy outcomes.

    Involvement levels vary per situation, with options like joining sessions or having separate check ins between parent ant therapist.

    Your child's therapist will collaborate with you to decide what level of involvement is best.

  • Length of treatment is unique to each client and their goals.

    Short-term therapy usually lasts 3 to 6 months to help with initial goals. If needed, therapy can continue based on individual progress and needs. This personalized approach ensures clients get the support to reach their goals.

  • We will ask you to complete intake forms using our online portal before the first session.

Insurance/Billing Questions

  • Yes! All of your clinicians accept:

    • Bluecross/Blueshield

    • Cigna

    • Tricare

  • If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, any reschedules or cancellations must be made more than 24 hours before the appointment. Any appointment rescheduled or canceled within the 24 hour window of the appointment start time will be subject to our cancellation fee ($100).

  • We can verify your insurance when you complete intake paperwork, and can provide you with an estimate of cost at your request.

    Copays/Deductibles are unique to each individual's plan, so if you would like to find out more information before contacting us, we recommend calling your insurance company directly.

  • Clients have the option of paying our out of pocket rate if we do not accept their insurance. You can find a breakdown of our rates on our billing/insurance page!

    At the client's request, we can provide clients with a superbill to submit to their insurance for reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance company directly to find out if your plan will cover out-of-network expenses. This will help ensure you have all the information you need for a successful reimbursement process.
