At Crescent Counseling Center, our Medication Management Program is designed to provide a comprehensive approach to mental health care. Clients have the opportunity to meet with our friendly and experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner, who specializes in evaluating, prescribing, and managing medications tailored to individual needs. Whether you're seeking assistance with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or other mental health concerns, our medication management services are here to support you.

What can I expect during an appointment?

All sessions are virtual at this time. Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner takes the time to understand each client's unique situation, medical history, and mental health goals. Clients can expect candid discussions about the benefits and potential side effects of medications. Client’s progress is monitored and to ensure any necessary adjustments to optimize effectiveness.

Reducing Trial and Error: Genesight testing

The GeneSight Psychotropic test is a genetic test that shows your healthcare provider how your genes may affect medication outcomes. The GeneSight test may reveal which medications to treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental health conditions that:

• Require dose adjustments

• Be less likely to work

• Have an increased risk of side effects based on your DNA
