Background:

Taylor is a Philadelphia native who moved to Alexandria, VA in 2017 after she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from West Virginia University. Taylor obtained her Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, D.C, in 2019. She is currently a doctoral student at Walden University, where she hopes to obtain her Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology and Crisis Response by the end of 2025.

Technique:

Taylor is a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist-Individual, and her main therapeutic approach is CBT, with over 6 years of counseling experience in a variety of settings. Taylor aims to foster an environment that allows her clients to feel comfortable and be themselves. Taylor believes that your past experiences influence your present and helps her clients gain a stronger understanding of the effects their past experiences have on their present and future. Taylor hopes to instill in her clients a drive to be their best selves, as well as develop necessary coping and calming skills to get through life’s daily anxieties. Some of Taylor’s areas of expertise include PTSD, veterans and other military-related concerns, trauma-informed care, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem.

In her free time, Taylor enjoys hiking, kayaking, and camping with her husband and dog, Bear.
