Background:

Summer Lynn is a Northern Virginia native. She graduated from West Springfield High School, right up the street from our offices. She received her undergraduate degree in Philosophy with a Biology minor and a concentration in Medical Ethics from George Mason University. She discovered a love for Special Education and Behavior Analysis while working in a private day school as a Behavior Program Specialist. She received her master’s degree in special education with a graduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University.

Technique:

Summer Lynn is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst. She has worked in a variety of settings, including in-homes and in public and private schools, and with all ages ranging from 3 years old to 22 years old. She strives to be very collaborative with parents, caregivers, and other service providers. Summer Lynn works with children to accept and diffuse difficult feelings so that they may engage in activities that bring them joy and increase their quality of life. She uses modern and evidence-based techniques to ensure ABA therapy is holistic, data driven, socially significant and trauma-informed.

When she’s not working with children, she enjoys spending time with her family and fur babies!
