Background:

Summer Lynn is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst with the Virginia Board of Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in Philosophy with a Biology minor and a concentration in Medical Ethics from George Mason University. She received her master’s degree in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University. She has worked in a variety of educational settings, as well as in clinics and in-home ABA companies. Summer Lynn focuses on encouraging behavior change by working collaboratively with clients, parents and other members of care teams. She works with clients of many ages and cognitive capabilities or neurodivergent traits.

Technique:

Summer Lynn encourages behavior change by using principles of ABA in an outpatient therapy setting. She assists clients to find behavior change solutions in order to have happier, more relaxed and engaging life experiences. Summer Lynn teaches social and emotional skills using an individualized, trauma-informed approach. She emphasizes evidence-based techniques to ensure behavior analysis is person centered, data driven, and socially significant.

Just for fun:

As a working mom of two, most of Summer Lynn's free time is spent doing activities with her young daughters. She enjoys being creative, seeing live music and being in nature when she gets the chance.
