Background:
Kelsey grew up moving around Europe and the Mediterranean and has lived in NOVA for the past 14 years. She graduated from Marymount University with a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has worked in a variety of settings with diverse clientele, primarily adolescents and adults.
Technique:
Kelsey uses CBT, DBT, and CBTp (CBT for psychosis) to take a collaborative approach to counseling and help foster agency in her clients by working with them to identify and achieve their goals. She employs a variety of evidence based practices to help reduce symptoms in her clients and strongly believes in using the mind-body connection to achieve lasting change. Kelsey has a passion for working with clients who have experienced trauma, live with serious mental illness, and those experiencing life transitions.

When Kelsey is not at work, she enjoys hiking, impromptu dance parties and checking out different cuisines.
