Background:

Julia was born in Northern Virginia, where she lived until she attended the University of South Carolina to complete her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She then returned to the DMV area to attend George Washington University where she earned her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Technique:

Julia’s therapeutic approach consists of psychodynamic, CBT, and person-centered therapy. She has experience working with adolescents and a passion for mental health.

Just for fun:

Outside of counseling, Julia enjoys hot yoga, reading, and trying new restaurants and recipes.

Julia Pisani, Resident in Counseling is currently working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She is registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling. Julia provides clinical services under the supervision of the LPC listed below. As a Resident in Counseling, Julia does not obtain or provide services on an independent basis, and she does not independent submit insurance claims. All insurance claims are submitted through Crescent Counseling Center.
