Background:

Diamond was born in Wilmington Delaware and has lived in NOVA for three years. Diamond completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Wilmington University. She graduated from Marymount University with two master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Forensic and Legal Psychology. Diamond has worked in a variety of settings with diverse clientele and diverse presenting concerns.

Technique:

Diamond’s therapeutic approach includes a mix of CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic, and Narrative Therapy techniques. Diamond strives to provide a comfortable and open environment to help her clients to learn and grow. She also enjoys incorporating mindfulness and expressive art techniques to help her clients to meet their counseling goals. She is passionate about being multiculturally competent and social justice advocacy. Diamond understands that everyone is different, and it is her goal to tailor this experience to each individual so that they can get the most out of this experience.

Diamond, Resident in Counseling, is currently working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She is registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling. Diamond provides clinical services under the supervision of the LPC listed below. As a Resident in Counseling, Diamond does not obtain or provide services on an independent basis, and she does not independently submit insurance claims. All insurance claims are submitted through Crescent Counseling Center.
